What we do in Braintree
- Blocked drains, toilets and sinks, cleared with rods or high-pressure jetting.
- High-pressure jetting to clear fat, scale, silt and roots from the pipe walls.
- CCTV drain surveys, with a drain report coded to the MSCC5 industry standard, plus photos and footage.
- Drain repairs, from a single joint to replacing a section of pipe, with a written guarantee on repairs.
Drains in Braintree
Braintree is our home patch. The older streets around the town centre and Bocking have clay drains that suffer from root intrusion and displaced joints, while estates like Great Notley were built with plastic pipework and mostly see blockages from what goes down the toilet and sink.
Because we're based between Braintree and Chelmsford, this is where we're usually closest. We'll still give you an honest arrival time when you book.
Is it your drain, or Anglian Water's?
In Braintree, the public sewers belong to Anglian Water. Since 2011, shared drains and sewers outside your property boundary have been the water company's to clear, free of charge. If your neighbours have the same problem, or the blockage is past your boundary, it's probably theirs: report it to Anglian Water on 03457 145 145. If we come out and find the problem is on the public side, we stop and tell you, and you only pay any diagnostic charge shown on your quote.
